Abstract – The CO2 reduction workshop will compare and contrast the various roadmaps to zero emissions that have been published for the cement industry. The various Levers and technologies available for reducing emissions and capturing and sequestering CO2 will be explored. Participants will be encouraged to explore specific steps for reducing their own plant’s / operation’s carbon footprint. The workshop will be a mix of presentations of materials and concepts with group discussion and examples.
